Where Love Blooms!
The Veria Tourism Club (VTC), aiming to promote the city as a tourist destination with unique characteristics, launched a creative and innovative initiative in 2017, showcasing the natural phenomenon of thousands of acres of blossoming peach trees in the Imathia plain, transforming an agricultural product into a tourist attraction!
Every spring, Veria demonstrates its unique identity, combining the natural landscape with cultural wealth, local products, and the warm hospitality of its residents. The blossoming peach trees are a true artistic experience, and the endless pink of the plain welcome’s visitors in a special way, making the city an unforgettable destination!
So, this year, Tourism Veria Club is planning a series of events for the flowering season, inviting locals and visitors, Greeks and foreigners alike, to welcome spring in the city of Veria and the breathtaking Imathia plain.
The «Veria Peach Blossom Festival 2026» titled “Where Love Blooms,” welcomes Spring with a powerful and timeless message: love is a way of being, an attitude toward life, and a force of unity. In a world searching for meaningful reference points, the festival highlights values such as kindness, respect, empathy, and care for the environment and for one another as the pillars that keep us connected. It is a celebration of beauty and authenticity that reminds us that when we choose to bloom within, the world around us transforms. #Here_We_Choose_To_Bloom!
At the heart of the events is the “Peach Blossoms 2026 Photography Contest – ‘Where Love Blooms’”, which for the 9th consecutive year invites professional and amateur creators to capture not staged images, but real moments and genuine emotions, set against the blooming peach orchards of the Veria plain.
The program unfolds over two weekends.
On Saturday, March 14, the festival opens in the city overlooking the blooming pink plain, with creative and imaginative activities for all ages.
On Sunday, March 15, the experiential event “The Field that Whispers Love” takes visitors to the heart of the countryside, offering an immersive experience of connection with nature.
On Saturday, March 21, the Spring Equinox is celebrated in Mesi , with activities inspired by rural life, accompanied by music and interactive games.
On Saturday evening, the “3rd Pink Wine Party” offers a unique rosé wine experience set to the rhythms of the 80s and 90s, while part of the proceeds will be donated to a charitable cause.
The festival culminates on Sunday, March 22, with a grand spring finale: a group cycling ride and guided walk through the pink fields, set against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains, creating an unforgettable experience.

This year's call captures "moments, not poses," highlighting authentic emotions and images of love in all its forms: family, friendship, companionship, self-care, environment. The blossoming peach trees become the natural backdrop for beauty that meets simplicity.

Sunday, March 15 – The Field that Whispers Love
Kouloura Village, 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
In the village of Kouloura, where blossoming peach trees define the landscape and the color pink dominates in March, the plain becomes the heartbeat of an entire city. We invite you to be part of an experience that cannot be described, but must be experienced through the senses.
What will we experience in the heart of the plain?
Stand among the blossoming trees and join your voice to a wave that will travel from heart to heart. Wander around and take photos among the specially designed artistic corners (installations), dedicated to every expression of love: sweet, familial, playful, rural, and even towards ourselves! Choose the spot that suits you and become part of the "Spring of Love" experience.
"And because pink needs its own flavor... get ready for something truly unique: Taste a rosé wine from the renowned local winery, bottled exclusively with the anniversary label "Anthismenes Rodakiniés" (Blossoming Peach Trees)! A superb tasting experience in a pink paradise, accompanied by a selection of fine local products. And when the DJ gives the signal, the rhythm becomes one with the heart of the plain. The moment takes off with an explosion of color in the air, transforming joy into a colorful celebration that fills the sky!
Instructions for Participants:
Dress Code: Wear light-colored clothes (white or pastel) that you don't mind getting "decorated" with color, as the celebration will leave its mark on us.

Saturday, March 21 – In the middle of the pink plain – Spring, Music, and Poses.
The second weekend of events finds us in the heart of flowering season, and the rendezvous is set in the village of Mesi !
An event full of authenticity and laughter. In collaboration with the "Cultural Association of Mesi, the village's tractors are decorated and become the perfect backdrop for your own photographic memories.
To the sounds of music, we wander through the fields and take photos on and around the tractors.
Young and old, get ready for fun games of discovery, rhythm, and imagery!
An activity that combines rural life with a modern perspective, music with movement, and of course, ourselves in the "middle" of the endless pink plain.

Saturday, March 21, 2026 - 3rd Pink Wine Party
Sala, 9:30 p.m.
Spring arrives in Veria in the most "rosé" way possible!
On Saturday, March 21, the night of the Spring Equinox, our favorite tradition returns. The "3rd Pink Wine Party" fills Sala with rhythm, color, and a unique wine experience.
This year, we celebrate the official start of spring with a historic moment: the presentation of a special anniversary bottling of a rosé wine labeled "Anthismenes Rodakiniés" (Blossoming Peach Trees). This is the first time that the magic of the countryside has been captured in a collectible bottle, bringing the scent of blossoming nature to the heart of the city!
As every year, our joy becomes an offering. Part of the proceeds will be donated to support "S.O.F.P.S.Y. Imathias," reinforcing its valuable work for mental health.
Get ready for an explosive journey through time! The greatest 80s & 90s Disco Rock hits will keep us on the dance floor all night long.
Dress Code: A touch of Pink!
We wear a pink item from an accessory to the most daring outfit and become one with the endless pink of our plain!
Sunday, March 22 – The Grand Finale: Cycling & Hiking
The grand finale of the "Blossoming Peach Trees of Veria 2026" festival takes us to one of the most enchanting destinations in our region. In collaboration with the "Imathia Paths & Trails" Association and the "Cultural and Beautification Association of Metochio "Alexander the Great," we invite you to enjoy the ultimate spring experience: a group bike ride and hike in a breathtaking landscape!
We cross and walk through pink fields, while the imposing snow-capped mountains of our region rise on the horizon! A route full of color, fresh air, and the power of companionship, in the heart of nature as it awakens.
At the end of the route, effort meets pleasure! Delicious peach compotes, fine local products, and the iconic rosé wine "Anthismenes Rodakiniés" await you, so we can all celebrate the completion of this journey together to the sounds of music.

An open, participatory visual arts event that invites us to give shape to spring. At the center, a metal doll-sculpture waits to be "dressed" with your emotions.
2. Pink Cocktail & Wine Festival - In the city's shops
The taste of spring in a glass! The cafes and bars of Veroia are actively participating with special promotional activities:
